We were recently traveling north on I-5 so I found some parks to check out along the way. From this, I created a larger list of stops all along the way because I thought it would be great to stop at a park for a bathroom break instead of a grocery or restaurant (we stopped at Queen Anne Metro Market and they had the most amazing sugar cookies). Forest Park was listed for its train climbing structures. It also had a sprayground (park with a water feature that sprays water) and a really cool scoop toy that I could barely drag my son away from. It's in the middle of this Forest Park with many other amenties including a petting zoo that wasn't open when we went.
