Avonlea Park is a great park in Lacey in the middle of the Avonlea subdivision. You can access it from the Chehalis Western Trail although it is not well marked from the trail and easy to miss. There is a basketball court, a covered picnic area and lots of green space to run around. I think the play structure is pretty neat. If you come in from Yelm Highway there are cows right next to the sidewalk, across the street from the subdivision which is a neat idea.
