I am a Olympia-area mama and have visited most of the parks and trails in the greater Olympia area. I like to check out new playgrounds and visit old favorites. When deciding whether to visit a park, I'd like to see a picture of the playground, and found I often couldn't find this information. Often on city web pages, they give you a map (useful, but) or a picture of the park shelter or the sign - I want to see the play structure to see if it's worth our time to visit! I decided to compile my information on a public blog for all to access.
I worked with the City of Lacey in 2009, visiting all of the parks in the city and taking pictures for their website. I also helped with their park matrix and amenities of the playground. They used the latter, but it seems all the pictures I took were a waste of time because they weren't used. So here they are for your benefit.
